Long Term Detour Information

TRAFFIC ADVISORY - DILLINGHAM BOULEVARD RAIL CONSTRUCTION 

NAN INC. has announced that they will commence utility relocation work along Dillingham Boulevard, between Puuhale Road and Kohou Street, beginning on MONDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2022, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  The construction will create dedicated work zones along Dillingham Boulevard that will reduce traffic in both directions, to one lane 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Operators traveling along the Dillingham Boulevard corridor may experience traffic delays, and should drive safely through construction zones at the posted speed limits.  Bus stops may be relocated to accommodate construction work.

7, 9, 40, 42, 43, 51, 52, 61, 88A, & C

AFFECTED AREAS:

Dillingham Boulevard between Puuhale Road and Kohou Street.

No detours are necessary.

 

KALIHI TRANSIT CENTER RAIL STATION CONSTRUCTION (Revised 12/13/20) 

Construction of the Middle Street rail station will require the closure of the turnaround area at the Kalihi Transit Center.  Traffic flow in the Transit Center will be detoured starting at 8:00 a.m., MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2019,24 hours a day/7 days a week, until further notice.  Westbound buses will service the bus stops along the Ewa side of the transit center, and eastbound buses will service the bus stops along the Diamond Head side of the transit center.

1, 1L, 2, 32, 43, 61, A, 301, 302, 303 & W3 

AFFECTED AREA:

Westbound buses to service the Ewa Side of the Transit Center 

Eastbound buses to service the Diamond Head Side of the Transit Center.

Eastbound:  TheBus will travel the regular route to the Diamond Head side of the Transit Center, service the designated eastbound bus bay, left at the makai gate to the Handi-Van parking lot, exit through the mauka gate of the Handivan parking lot onto the Kalihi Transit Center driveway, and then resume the regular route.  

Westbound: TheBus will travel the regular route to the parking access lane (Ewa side of the Transit Center), right parking access lane, u-turn at the end of the parking lane to the designated westbound bus bay, left at the Kalihi Transit Center driveway, and then resume the regular route.

HICKAM MAIN GATE (DETOUR)  (Revised 12/13/20)  

Due to the new security procedures at HICKAM MAIN GATE buses will be detoured starting on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2018, from 9:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m., UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.    TheBus will service all bus stops along the detour route.

ROUTE 303, HICKAM-AIRPORT-KALIHI TRANSIT CENTER 

Eastbound:   No detour. 

Westbound:  TheBus will travel the regular route to O’Malley Blvd/Hickam Main Gate, continue on O’Malley, right Freedom, left Vandenberg, and then resume the regular route.
